Erik smirked as he scouted out the dressing room from behind the wall. His panels always came in handy. Seeing no one, he emerged from his hiding place and stalked about the dressing room. It was sickening, walking through the ridiculous luxury of the woman's room. There were all manners of dress in the room; silks and furs and taffeta and lace...Given, Erik owned a few things in those materials, but not to this excess.
Stepping carefully and quietly through the room, he came to a pair of shoes that sat by her chaise. He smirked, kneeling down and examining them. Her slippers, it seemed...He picked one up, looking at the beading and the silk. Wouldn't it be such a shame if something were to happen to such lovely shoes...?
It had been a long time since Erik had done something for his own amusement. Of course, it was fine and dandy when something unfortunate happened that wasn't of his own doing. It put a little spark of schadenfreude in his day, but it wasn't quite the same unless he did something himself.
Erik put the shoe down, and turned his attention to creating a bit of mischief for his own benefit. Reaching into his pocket, he procured a small vial of algae from his underground lake. He pulled the cork from the vial and poured part of the contents into one slipper, and the remainder into the other. He popped the cork back into the vial and slipped it into his pocket, then stood and went back to his hiding spot. He didn't suspect that the diva would be gone from her dressing room for long, and rehearsal was almost over...
Settling into a comfortable position, Erik waited for her to come back. This reaction would probably make his day much better, as he'd been frustrated more than ever, lately. His newest project wasn't cooperating with him, and it was disheartening and quite irksome, in his opinion.
