Monsieur Poligny, the poor man, nearly had a heart attack right then and there! This was exactly the sort of reaction which he was dreading. He nearly leaped from his chair, toppling backward and running into the wall with a loud CRASH! THUD! Anyone in the neighboring rooms surely could have heard it… but then again, they surely could have heard the Ghost’s voice as he yelled in rage and fury as well.
The man let out a shriek in fright as he fell. No matter how long he was here, he never did think that he would ever get used to having such a disagreeable ghost haunting about the place… After all, it wasn’t the sort of thing you could exactly ask someone for advice about.

Erik cleared his throat, fuming still. "Sorry, Poligny, lost my temper for a moment. Not to worry, I shall resolve this. That little..." Erik grunted in exasperation and left Poligny, moving back toward the little house on the lake. It would take him some time to come up with a new plan to make the girl take lessons. How dare she not take his help...
Perhaps during rehearsals he could saddle her with a few responsibilities? Like learning parts for understudying and the like? That would force her to work harder, and then she might consider getting a teacher! Or perhaps she'd just be a stubborn little mule about it. Erik rolled his eyes. She was hard to work with, this little swede.
Erik kicked his foot against the wall in his frustration. He needed to take his mind off of this. It was the only way that he wouldn't snap and kill something. He changed his course, heading backstage. Perhaps playing a poltergeist in the ballet girl's dormitories would make him feel better. It helped him get a laugh from time to time, anyway...
